Live performance, David Slader and Owen Carey’s InkBodySkinPaint+Fire
Risk/Reward is delighted to partner with Gallery 114 on an experimental performance meant to enhance the visual art show “InkBodySkinPaint+Fire: David Slader & Owen Carey” on view at the gallery March 7-29, 2019. Join us on First Thursday, March 7, when tattoo-clad performers pose as live art models while telling stories of the inspirations behind their tattoos, lending a living, beating heart to the powerful collection of works by painter Slader and photographer Carey on the gallery walls. Performance happens intermittently between 6:30-8:30pm.
